Hi all. Im new to Synfig and I am having problems saving my files. It keeps telling me it cannot save the file so I have to save as a new name or location each time I want to save. Please anybody help me
Can you report the following information?
-Exact message appeared.
-Operating system and architecture.
-Synfig Studio version.
Once you have saved to the new location, if you modify the file in Synfig Studio, can you save it again with the same name and location?

I am having the same problem. I am using the Windows 64 bit OS and Synfig 1.2.2
I had same problem on Windows at my work with Synfig 1.3.11 (installed).
It requires write access to synfig bin folder, but regular user lacks permission to access “C:\Program Files”…
