Windows or Linux?

It’s been awhile since I’ve used Synfig but want to get back into it. I have a dual boot system, Windows 10 (for work) and Magia Linux. Does anyone recommend using Synfig on one or the other, performance wise? Thanks

If you have dual boot you can figure it out for yourself. I mean, I’ve been using Linux for more than a decade I don’t know how Synfig works in Windows. Just test it and choose. :slightly_smiling_face:

I would recommend Linux without hesitation.
It has better integration (made for Linux, based on Linux libs) and a faster startup.

Another possibility is to use a Linux version in a VirtualBox under Win10

Anyway, as Synfig is available in both platforms, why not to use it in both? :stuck_out_tongue:
(Double cost of license sadly… Ah, almost forgot, it’s free  )
Just place your projects in a reachable place (mount + symlink under Linux)

That wasn’t helpful or civil. Why bother answering?

Thanks Bob. That was helpful. Unlike some people, I don’t have hours and hours of free time to play on the computer.

You’re right, Linux then.
