Walk Cycle and Speed Draw

Working on the second part to this Headtoon:
So I needed a walk cycle for the newscaster Master Torgo:
It’s a little trickier than it looks, because it’s cutout animation without elbow or knee joints.
Also thought I’d post a speed draw (done in Gimp) of how I achieve my Headtoon style, and how I set up phonemes for a character.
Let me know what you think.

On a side note in an attempt to go completely open source, I’ve switched my production from windows 7 to Linux (Mint 17 Cinamon 64 bit), and things definately move smoother and quicker in Gimp, Synfig, and Avidemux.

Congrats on making the switch. I did it ten years ago and haven’t regretted it since!
