Using appimage file

Newbies may be confused on how to use the appimage file. Here is a useful (and easy) walk-through.

Thank you, but appimage is a general Linux concept, not specific to Synfig.
Since the first time it was available under this post: https://morevnaproject.org/2016/12/23/synfig-studio-appimages-now-available-download/ it was a link to explain this concept (by David Revoy)

And from https://github.com/synfig/synfig (README.md) you need just 2 lines to know what to do :stuck_out_tongue:

Installing

Debian/Ubuntu

  1. Download the appimage file from the website.
  2. Left-click on the file and select properties . Navigate to permissions and check the box that says Allow executing file as program . Finally, run the file.

This information needs to be on your download page. Not everyone is knowledgeable of these things.
