Undesired Blur with rotate Layer

in order to reflect an object (that maybe I need to rotate) I’ve added a rotate layer and rotate the obj.

The rotated objct (#21,…), an annoying blur effect - only in low res - is present.

See in attach the problem.

If I switch to high res unchecking the flag in the tool bar the obj coords change to the correct position.

I’m using the Synfig Studio 0.62.01RC4 release on XP.

Can I restart to translating Wiki and re-subscribe to it (It seems that my subscription has been “lost”)

The blur or pixelation when use the rotate layer is a normal problem that happens due to the low res usage. You can avoid that in edition by disabling low resolution as you have mentioned. The artifact won’t appear in the final render.Same problem happens in other filters (spherize, twirl, etc) and in general any filter that distorts the context doing a rotation of it.
On the other hand for a simple horizontal or vertical mirror you can use the stretch layer and set the x,y values to the proper ones:
x,y=1,-1 for a mirror in the X axis
x,y=-1,1 for a mirror in the Y axis
Remember that 1 unit=60 pixels by default.
