The animation is laggy

Hi,
Yesterday I downloaded Synfing for the first time to start animating, the problem is that when I tried to start the animation it only showed me the last part of it. And the only thing I was animating was a circle.

Did you watch some tutorials before using Synfig?

It would be useful if you provide any of these: file of your animation, recording of your screen, details about your OS, version of Synfig you are using.

If you have exported your artwork from Inkscape then your duration of animation would be 0f, to fix this:

  1. Go to Canvas (in the top menu)
  2. Properties
  3. Go to the “Time” tab
  4. Set the end time to some value (like 120f)

Unless we don’t clearly understand the problem, we are unable to help.
