Synfig windows not rendered on second monitor

Under OS X 10.9 (don’t know about other versions) on a MacBook Pro none of the Synfig windows will display if moved to a second monitor. Is this intentional? Something to do with X11?

I’ve only dragged them across and dragged them back, I haven’t let go of them because I’m afraid I won’t be able to pick them up again and return them to the main screen!

Or have I missed something?

Currently the multiple monitor support depends on what does the window manager do, that in your case it is XQuarz. There is not internal detection on monitors in the Synfig code.
