The appimage is starting fine on my Linux Kubuntu machine. Make sure your appimage is executable. This link explains how to make that happen.
If you are still having problems then please post more info about your system.

What is your OS and how did you get this message above?
Try to download the appimage again.
And run it from a console or double-clock from a file manager (after have given it exec rights)
