In the next few days we are going to release a new update for our stable version, which fixes several critical issues. We would like to make sure that this version will work as expected, so here are the release candidate builds for testing - synfig.org/cms/en/news/synfi … candidate/

I can’t say i’ts 0.64.3 related , but rendering in canevas

  • MacWolfen : take 4s in softawre and 40s in cairo mode … ! (0.65.x : 4s soft [not tiled] / 22s cairo)
  • Pirate : 2s soft / 8,5 cairo (0.65.x : 1,3s [not tiled] / 5,7s)

The second release candidate of upcoming bugfix release is available for download now. The list of changes has grown a bit since the build of the last week:

Fixed crash when rendering with Magick++, Gif and other targets (bug #702).
Fix UI compatibility issues for the latest Linux distributions - Ubuntu 14.10, Fedora 21 and others (bugs #699, #715).
Fixed issue with incomplete localization in Windows version.
Fix Magick++ target not working on Ubuntu 14.10 (bug #728).
Fix FFmpeg target for Ubuntu 14.10 (bug #729).
Fix Extract Alpha option for CairoPng target (bug #730).
