We are happy to present a new update of Synfig Studio animation software, which is addressing following critical issues:

Fixed crash when rendering with Magick++, Gif and other targets (bug #702).
Fix UI compatibility issues for the latest Linux distributions - Ubuntu 14.10, Fedora 21 and others (bugs #699, #715).
Fixed issue with incomplete localization in Windows version.
Fix Magick++ target not working on Ubuntu 14.10 (bug #728).
Fix FFmpeg target for Ubuntu 14.10 (bug #729).
Fix Extract Alpha option for CairoPng target (bug #730).

nota: last dev build is two month old… do you think to build something soon ? (especially until recent ‘recent linux fixies’ )

The gtk3 packages are not ready yet - I am still working on them. But it’s close already. There are theming issues remaining… :slight_smile:
