SVG from AI import as empty elements

Hi,

I been trying to import SVGs created in AI CS6. They import but then there’s nothing there. An empty folder is made in the layers stack but thats it. No graphics. I tried a wide range of SVG settings in AI but no diference.

I tried some random other SVGs on my drive and they seem fine. I opened one or two and they camefrom inkspae with a SVG dtd from year 2000.

AI SVGs include 1.1 1.2 and 1.1tiny among others.

Anyone seen this? Is there some kind of problem with AI SVG export?

Hi,

Synfig is not fully compliant with SVG, please use export filter from Inkscape to Synfig and check in this forum/wiki for common problems with SVG.
