Spline does not create a layer

I’ve just download Synfig Studio 1.0.2, and when it opens I click on the Spline tool, with create outline layer, and click next in Transform Tool to end the spline but nothing happens. Synfig does not create the line nor the layer.

Select another tool and your spline is created.

Thank you very mach. I’ve resolved the question. I was making the spline by clicking and dragging the mouse. If you do it by just clicking the two points it woks fine.

I was dragging the mouse instead of cliking points
