[Solved] Rendered Avi not playing

Hi,

I am new around here apologise if this is answered somewhere already, I did do a search before posting.

I just started using Synfig yesterday, I have gone through the steps of rendering my first animation but the avi won’t import to my editing software or play on my MacBook.

I have tried a few different codec but nothing has worked.

Any ideas?

I have actually sorted it :smile:

Had to change the file extension to .mp4 and make sure the codec was mpeg4 part 2 (XviD/DivX)
