To reproduce, I
- Open Synfig Studio
- Click on the Play button
- Wait until the last frame (120 by default) is reached.
The window closes and I see a “Segmentation fault (core dumped)” message. How can I debug this?

In order to help you to catch this bad insect hidden in your configuration, please, can you give more details : OS type and version , synfig version, other interesting things : How to Report Bugs Effectively
Also, the segfault seems to occurs without project, does it occurs with any project ?
You want to debug by yourself ? please check the instructions under the synfig wiki in the dev" section. wiki.synfig.org . Nota, according os, could be more or less difficult to setup.
