I wish synfig had similar rendering speeds as Davinci resolve . Don’t know what it takes technically but it is much needed .
You can’t compare what is not comparable.
Synfig calculates every frame based on the hierarchy of the tree of layers, blending them all together and push each frame to the input of ffmpeg.
Resolve stiches sequences of video, even though it can apply effects and reencode, still it can’t be compared.
