My New upcoming Cartoon Series and Game [amongst others]

Hello everyone, please bear with me this might be a bit long.

So I was supposed to upload a fight scene like I said I would last week but things took a bit of a different turn as I had to get a job to take care of my basic needs. Unfortunately I got hired by a local company that turned out to be really wicked and evil, they forced me to make 2 animated videos and 4 illustrated posters every single day for their social media accounts (the worst part is they didn’t use everything I was making, they just wanted to have options). I held on through out the month of June and when the time came to pay, they started making all sorts of excuses refusing to pay. Because I live in Nigeria, it’s basically impossible for someone who isn’t rich or popular to sue a company or a client.

I decided to stop being depressed about it and look forward: I’ve always been very good at coming up with interesting stories that had my friends hooked while I told them, so I decided to focus on creating a cartoon that I always wanted to make. I’m currently designing the characters in inkscape, I will also work and complete my fight scene in synfig because I think that’s also awesome, it gave me an incredible idea for a game that I think is going to be awesome too.

The hard part is I still need funds to take care of a lot of my basic needs and also fund my projects: I plan on opening a gofundme for my cartoon and game after I’m done with the characters and a teaser episode for the cartoon and a trailer for the video. I think I’ll also try to sell some character rigs on gumroad. If I see the time I will also try to make tutorials on youtube.
Incase anyone knows of any roles available (especially synfig related), or anyone wants to work together please reach out.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this, remain Blessed.

I suppose that you signed a contract so that you can prove to the Police / Tribunal / Taxes that you were officially hired and through banking system that you didn’t receive your money.
(Or they would have to provide a form with your sign that you took your money)
It should be sufficient, no?

How I wish it was like that bro. Unfortunately Nigeria is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. I have a contract with me that I signed and sent, they even took my details to register me as an employee… But unfortunately because they have the money they can simply bribe the police as they usually do. And the police is also corrupt that reporting a case they will ask for money if you want them to follow up. I actually have a story I wrote about how corrupt Nigeria is, one day I’ll turn it into a movie.

For now what I plan to do it look into how I can have their Instagram account suspended because the owner loves the account so much.

Nigeria is known for “Nigerian Scams” in Europe, but I didn’t know that they were doing the same (recursive) with their own people.
Have you ever thought about to emigrate (depending on your familial situation)?
For example in France, as long as you come officially/legally and with your abilities, you would find a job in your domain.
And you could have help to get installed.

(I say officially/legally because we have a lot of illegal immigration that lead to criminality, there is nothing like institutionnal racism in France, some politicians are pushing this narrative to produce chaos and division. In short, any good soul is welcome)

About their Instagram, don’t look for “revenge”.
Try to take it positively: you learnt not to trust a potential employer and work for him before to be sure to have been registered as an employee.
And for their punishment, it will come some day (Karma, God or the Universe will take care of it  )

That makes sense, I will start working towards that. Honestly I’ve never been confident in myself as a person but I’m learning to do that little by little.

Thanks a lot, I believe I’m good enough.
