Is anyone able to help me? I have installed Synfig 1.4.5 on a windows 10 laptop.
Everything seems to be ok except that I can’t find the Skeleton tool. It simply is not there.
Any suggestions?

I checked and yes, it seems that it is missing.
Please use v1.5.3 instead, the tool is present
