[MacOS] Can't Access Fonts

I am a new Synfig user and have downloaded it on my Mac.

For some reason the application has no fonts that I can use.

Can anyone help?

Yes, the applications don’t show lists of installed
fonts (which is :expressionless:) Rather, you have to give the file location information of font file (like ttf). Synfig will find the file and apply then.

I typed in Times.ttf but I still couldn’t see my text.

Any suggestion what I might be doing wrong?

You have to give full correct location of font file not only filename. For example, if I have downloaded a font in Windows, I would have given location like this - C:\User\0\Downloads\example.ttf

I had my fonts working fine.
