I have drawn a male character and divided his limbs into separate png files, which I’ve imported into the program. I added a skeleton and have tried following the tutorial found here (https://wiki.synfig.org/Doc:Basic_Bone_Tutorial), but sometimes I don’t get the ‘Link to Bone’ option, and when I do, it doesn’t seem to do anything. I assumed that, once linked, moving the skeleton would move the drawings.
What is your Synfig version and what is your operational system?
I’m running Windows 10 64-bit, and the version of Synfig is 1.2.2. I’ve tried both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions.
Could you please try the 1.3.11 version?
hi, good day, still use the stable one, dont take advise from someone that send you to use a full of bugs version.
#2- you must select the folder or part, and the Skeleton layer in the layer window using alt or shift I dont remember in this moment, then, go and select only the green dot of the body part them go and do a right click in the green dot of the bone that you want to link. it will be appear the link to bone option.
