Hello, everyone!

This month our priority is “Better UI”. The first step in our roadmap outline is “Migration to Gtk3” and Ivan is already started with that.

Of course, it’s too early to expect something finished yet. But, we don’t want this report to be boring, so Ivan have made a few bugfixes to make your day brighter.

Here they are:

  • Fix bug #638: Crash when shift-Click on Tangent handle.
  • Fix bug #624: Now it is possible to drag widthpoints again.
  • Handles won’t disappear anymore when you zoom during Spline construction (second attempt to fix the issue).

And one more tiny fix from me:

  • Fix keyframe dragging operation when document FPS is different than default (24).

That’s an awesome news for me as a UX hobbyist, I can’t wait to see after that, Synfig Studio starts using new widgets to implement a brand new interface and interaction method :mrgreen:

I even imagined one day we can implement UI logic in Javascript/node.js :wink:
