Imported images. can they be moved about?

I have a lot of previously made pictures in jpg and png format that i wish to animate with Synfig…
I am wondering if I import these files as layers, can I move then about like in the tutorial about moving the red circle?

When I import a pic and try to move it, in the way in the tutorial that you create the circle in, there is no dot in the middle of the picture to grab - only the ducks show.

If there is a way you use these existing imported images and move them freely like the circle it would be good.

Yes, the easiest way is to just encapsulate the imported image, then the green dot will show up. :slight_smile:

Alternately, you could put zoom, translate or rotate layers above the imported picture.
