tracking motion feature like the one in after effects check here
it takes area of space and track it for many frames then produce key frames of position which can be used in adding graphic for videos instead of tracking motion manual by key-frame each frame

This is a very specific use case and supposed to be done in a video editor after production of an animation …
Synfig permits to import videos for convenience, for blueprints/references, but its goal is not to produce videos this way.

i think it’s useful :
- if i have a video i want to add graphics to it, but i don’t have the project file
- If the file exists in a different app
but totally agree it maybe very specific use
I hope Synfig’s layer_skeletondeformation has visible points so that users can manipulate or move them manually during the editing process. Similar to how points in Blender can be animated. A good example is Moho’s mesh smart bone (https://g.co/kgs/PC21ivN). If the mesh displays its points, then I could create something like a smart bone system. Hopefully, the Synfig developers can implement this feature. Thank you.
