I need help installing SynFig

Ok, here are my specs

Mac OS X 10.6.8

I have Xcode 4

What steps should I take to install a stable version?

this is what I get when I attempt to use the installer

I can try running the installer in 10.7

Same specs with same results. I wonder if the DMG contains everything necessary because it´s just 293,9KB.

Looking forward for a fix.

So anyone running SynFig installation via the dmg successfully under SnowLeopard?

Hi, I’m running Synfig 0.63.01 under Lion but I installed it via “Macport”, I can’t get the synfig.dmg to work, not on Lion or Snow Leopard.
If you have Macport installed then all you have to do is open the terminal and write:
sudo port install synfigstudio and it will install the latest version
