Has Synfig code ever been analyzed?

Hi all guys I recently read this report on the code of a Synfig “competitor” viva64.com/en/b/0389/ and I was wondering if something like that had ever been done with Synfig code?

I think it could be a good way to find out flaws and improve the quality of the code?

As far as I understood viva64 does code quality audits of opensource software (for free??) and then post the results on their website, highlighting flaws and good characteristics. If they do it for free do you think Synfig code could benefit from such thing?

Yes, I’ve also heard they do analysis for open-source projects for free. I think it’s OK to request analysis via Contact form - viva64.com/en/about-feedback/

There are a lot of code checkers available, including free ones. And i actually planned trying some of them at some point, but just knowing problems doesn’t help in current situation - there are a lot of known problems, but they don’t get fixed because there’s nobody to do it.
