"Free" - poem by Jackie Hagan, animation by me

This was part of a short film called “Sickos” made by Jackie Hagan about terminal illness, for a disability festival in Salford. Poem and narration by Jackie, animation by me. Entirely done in Synfig except for the part with the circles and morphing, for which I wrote a custom Python script.

I like the character style. You should do more animation, with these characters, they are nice.
