Flying Rhino's Happy Birthday

my first synfig animation.

I can only hope there is someone out there who understands it…

The rhino parts are .png files, drawn in gimp. Everything else is synfig drawing.

Each scene is animated separately in synfig, exported to .png files and converted to .avi by mencoder.

Then I used PiTiVi to stick the scenes together, add stills and trim to get the timing right.

Finally, I improvised some music on tenor viol while watching the (silent) movie, tweaked it just a little with with audacity and shoved it back into PiTiVi for the final video/audio encode.

Very funny!
