Hi!
I’ve wanted to animate for as long as I can remember, and always looked up to Chuck Jones, Hayao Miyazaki, and John Lasseter. I wanted to wait until the rest of my life was in order before I got started animating.
So far I’ve watched all of the “darthfurby” tutorials on youtube, and I was wondering if there was anything similar, or recommended tutorials aside from the manual on this website as it is extremely dry. What is generally the best method of learning this software?
One of my goals with Synfig is to make a character animation series where I show people how to animate a scene with a character using only opensource software in a step-by-step guide.
