I am looking for a vector-based animation solution for my game project. Spine and Creature are two popular commercial animation tools which provide an embeddable runtime for adding animations to a game engine without using pre-rendered sprite sheets or video (example: http://esotericsoftware.com/spine-runtimes/).
I would prefer to have access to the editor source code, so Synfig caught my attention. I played around with Synfig Studio for a bit and so far I’m a fan.
So I’m wondering if there has been any work on something like this in the Synfig community before?
