I’ve been unable to keep up with the IRC, recentchanges, lists and forums since Jan 16th 
I need someone to update the draft news for the past few weeks and people to keep it up to date and post it occasionally:
Any volunteers?
We still need someone to work on this, there haven’t been any new additions to the news page since a day or two after my last callout.

Seems like you focussed on the SVN repo, it needs to cover the wiki, forums, lists, bug tracker, IRC and other things too.
Ideally it would be updated once a day or once every few days.
