Hello, users and developers. 
On my journey to port really old code to GTK3 (yet), I was looking for some pending contributions we didn’t merge yet.
There is one that add some clipboard functionality to the Palette Panel. The picture below is how the author describes his work:
Although the source code needs some minor adjustments, what do you think about merging this feature? Is it useful? Is the icon OK? Is something either missing or overflowing?

Always good to take, maybe not useful useful everyday but it is when you need something that you don’t have it.
And as the code is already done (and will not require a lot of maintenance in the future), why not?

Agree with Bob here. I don’t use pallete panel myself, but there are sites about color theory that provide colors in HTML code, so definitely could be useful for artists. The icon could be better but it’s a minor thing that could be addressed later.
I would like to have the possibility to have an additional window with a contextual palette.
Something like you enter in a group and you have access to all the colors that are available below and keep it “local”.
This could be useful for loading color schemes attributed to a character or an environment, without to have to look everywhere in the global palette or to have to play with color selection all the time.
