Is there a way to combine shapes in Synfig? For example, if I wanted to make a snowman and I use three circles could I combine them to make one object? Thanks for the help!
You cannot combine them into one layer but what you can do is encapsulate them so they are all collected in one layer group and can act as one object.
Select all layers you want to collect, right click and choose encapsulate.
Do you think that should be something to do in a future release? It is very convenient to be able to combine shapes in Inkscape and I wonder if that would be good for Synfig as well.
So does encapsulating the three objects into one ‘layer’ not achieve the same result? You can then duplicate the encapsulation and make as many identical snowmen as you want…
