This is my first time drawing a complex, multi-layered character in Synfig. I used the splice tool to trace a drawing uploaded to my computer. However, after drawing a few layers, I found myself unable to see the objects I drew in full-color. I look at the properties tab, and it shows that they are indeed colored-in, but neither the outline color, nor the full color actually show on the canvas. Can anyone tell me how to enable the colors on the canvas? If you can, would you also provide me with your thoughts on how I may have triggered this problem, in hopes that I can avoid it next time?

Did it got covered with other layers perhaps…? (such as the drawing that you need to trace…?)
you can raise and lower the layers to see if they’re actually there…
