Can Synfig be used to make presentations

A very long time ago I used to make (very) long presentations in Adobe Flash. I’d like to start doing that again. The possibilities were endless that’s why I chose to make them in Ad-Flash instead of Win-PP(I didn’t had Linux in those days yet…;-))
Now I’ll go(try) for Synfig because Ad-Flash is way to expensive.
The longest I ever made In Ad-Flash was just under one hour. These presentations were a mix of Flash animations, imported picture, floating text, music and movies. I wonder, would that all be feasible in Synfig too…?

You can do everything with Synfig but maybe not as easy as Flash.
In order to have a better overview of its possibilities, have a look on the official Youtube channel

Made a very short testfile, looks a lot like the early Flash versions, not hard to work with. (I have the ‘Flash experience’ advantage of course), lucky me…:wink:
One question, in what format can I export a project. I mean, I need to be independent and running a project on another machine of course.
The only usable filter to play an animation I see is GIF.
