This might have been said before, but… I’d really love a feature to quickly and efficiently align objects or groups, either in relation to each other, or to the canvas. Inkscape does a fine job with it! It’d also be useful for stuff like commercial motion graphics and kinetic typography.
(That said, I think we also need toolkits designed with Typography in mind – nothing fancy, just basic but efficient stuff – but that’s another discussion altogother.)
