Today I was trying to create a custom workspace, then some how the foreground/back group color selection panel disappeared, I can’t find a way to bring it back, I tried default work space, closing & reopening, & finally uninstalling & reinstalling synfig, but still it’s missing.
Any help is appreciated.

It’s actually hidden below the tools panel. You have to patiently pull it up like I did.
