when i try to run this program, i get a message saying “the procedure entry point g_build_filenamev could not be located in the dynamic link library libglib-2.0-0.dll”. this is my first time downloading synfig, and i do not know what is wrong

Also, are you under Vista, XP, or later. I’m not sure if anyone has gotten it to work under Vista yet.

Your error sounds like a conflict between a version of GTK installed on your machine and what Synfig expects to see.
Do you have Gimp or Inkscape installed? (If so, which versions?)
Which directories are you installing GTK, GTKmm, Synfig, Synfig studio to? What is your PATH?

P.S. It does work under Vista (at least 32 bit Vista Ultimate, anyway)

i already followed that, this is my first time running synfig
I hope this weekend I can access to a Windows Vista Laptop Intel dual core with synfig installed and would try to make it run.
I’ll report in the forum more detailed results on the tests I’ll do.
