I plan on getting Synfig but I need to know one thing: is it compatible with Windows 10? Windows 10 is not listed in the download area, and I want to make sure it is compatible so I don’t mess up my computer.

Synfig is of course compatible with W10.
You don’t have to be worried about any mess up.
It is compiled with opensource tools and everything is self-contained (dlls in Synfig’s app directory).
There is a search fonction in this forum and you can google for it to avoid to be sorry next time
