So here is an early WIP of a forest overview scene to be used as an intro to the main forest set where Vector Owl has his adventures. All vector-based, imported into and edited in Synfig. I wanted to reuse some of the assets so it didn’t jar when switching from this establishing shot and the use of a framing tree does give an extra sense of depth. ![Forest_Overview_WIP](https://forums.synfig.org/uploads/default/original/2X/7/7eec8427a1caecfce8a6c630f91d651dbe22f330.jpeg) The imagery for this shot comes directly from the music “The Forest Theme” [https://soundcloud.com/mrbouz…/vector-owl-the-forest-theme](https://soundcloud.com/mrbouzouki/vector-owl-the-forest-theme) If you compare it with ‘The Forest’ set I feel it works. ![VO_Background](https://forums.synfig.org/uploads/default/original/2X/e/e89f2abd4ba52ec3170b96771d689b5c62a3298d.jpeg) ---

As part of all this I have a few seconds of my ‘The Forest’ theme where I had a bit on the piccolo that is supposed to represent bird song. Step forward ‘Mr Robin’. Unmute the audio for the full effect. 🙂 [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/tE_ytA2t8e0/maxresdefault.jpg "Vector Owl WIP - Mr Robin Sings") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tE_ytA2t8e0)
