Using JACK integration in Synfig

I’m using Synfig 1.2.0 and testing out the beta 1.3.3 on both Ubuntu Linux 16.04 and 17.04. I have qjackctl installed and running and I’m trying to synchronise Synfig with Ardour but I can’t seem to find the button in the interface to enable JACK integration. For reference here’s what I see on both stable and beta versions of Synfig: imgur.com/a/39Fsd

All the documentation I’ve seen about this points to this video as a tutorial youtube.com/watch?v=NHFOyz2WjoA however, the video shown is using a placeholder icon for JACK integration.

Is there something I’m missing? Was this feature removed?

bump

The fix is shipped with Synfig Studio 1.3.4 - morevnaproject.org/2017/08/10/s … -released/

Thank you for reporting the issue!

Thanks a lot! When I get a moment I’ll update the sceeenshots/instructionos on the wiki

I am using Synfig 1.3.6 and I still can’t see the icon shown in the video tutorial. Am I blind? :S

–edit:

Ok, I see it after doing:

sudo apt-get install jackd
