TVPaint animation pro: Linux Open Beta

Hi,
I want to tell you that the french company TVPaint just released a Linux Open beta of their professionnal animation software.
For those who don’t know it yet, it’s a great software for doing frame-by-frame, hand-drawn animation.

I know it’s not Open source, but I think it’s great to see commercial pro. applications coming to Linux !!!
(Notice they released their loader/saver plugin on FreeBSD and LGPLv2.1 licence, as it use open-source codecs)
Spread the word! (The more demo user/potential buyer they’ll have, the sooner the’ll release the official linux version ^^ )

LMAO how did I miss this…

Until now I’ve been running TVPaint on Wine and it works splendid. Working it natively’s gonna be class A! XD

=( unfortunately they are releasing it as an experiment or something, because they don’t warranty support for linux
