Synfig Crashes on Startup MAC OSX Lion

Okay, I am new to the whole apple world(switched from pc) and I have managed to get Synfig installed and startup. However I get a error like this and I am very confused. I have been trying to figure this out for hours. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
synfig studio – starting up application…

synfig(93550) [23:33:42] info: Loading modules from /usr/local/Cellar/synfig/0.63.03/etc/synfig_modules.cfg

(synfigstudio:93550): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: Object class gtkmm__CustomObject_N6studio15ValueBase_EntryE doesn’t implement property ‘editing-canceled’ from interface ‘GtkCellEditable’
synfigstudio(93550,0x7fff75650960) malloc: *** error for object 0x10d990168: pointer being freed was not allocated
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
Abort trap: 6
I am running Mac 10.7 Lion. I have installed Xtools, homebrew, I have updated homebrew, and have downloaded Xquartz.

I’ve got the exact same problem. =(

I have a similar problem on Linux Mint 12 that I’ve posted in this thread:

Maybe between the two environments, we can figure something out.
