# Synfig 0.62.00 Released!!

We are proud to announce the release of a new version of Synfig. The 0.62.00 version comes with a lot of new features and mayor changes:
- Migration to new host.
- Synfig code is now at sourceforge in git.
- Wiki reworking and new website.
- New features
[list][\*] SVG import module.
- Keyframe widget:
- New toggle buttons in the canvas window
- Onion skin past and future are selectable individually
- New Curve Warp Layer.
- Lots of bugs fixed, and much more…

Cool! Released just on my birthday (wich was yesterday) ^^
However, I just tried tu build and install it from source (on a Jaunty 64), but when I launch synfigstudio I’ve this error:
“synfigstudio: error while loading shared libraries: libsynfigapp.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or director”
Maybe I didn’t remove right the 0.69 version, I did a “make uninstall” on ETL,synfig and synfigstudio (I kept the sources for that).
Should I have done something else to remove it completly?

I think that you have to do:
```auto
$ sudo ldconfig
```
to teach synfigstudio where to find the libraries.

Yep that was it, I did forget the last sudo ldconfig …
Now it works! Nice Splashscreen Genete, Congratulation for your art work !

There are 4 active administrators of the project. Anyway the contributions are all listed in the Credits of the About dialog and the NEWS and README files.
There are lots of way to help the Synfig project. One of them is using the program and doing good animations! 😉

Please test the windows version with single thread enabled. It is worth to try.
