In order to catch the attention of more developers, the Synfig source code could be documented using Doxygen or something similar. Although, that would take a lot of work.

Anyway, the code itself has to include the documentation made by the comments in the code properly formatted. That’s not complete of course and yes, it is a lot of work. The only way is to properly document each file that is touched by the coder in each moment.
