I lost the color box and what should I do to get it back
Maybe to check if someone already had the same issue in the forums 
Hi. I’m new to all this so please bare with me. I received a reply from a very helpful chap named flurick. He told me what to do. I don’t know how to redirect you to the answer that he gave me but he did include an animated gif that shows you what to do that I have uploaded (hopefully!) that I hope will help you. The text he added said “Is it maybe hiding at the end of the dock?”. Basically, the colour docker was hidden below the window. If you try to bring it back up quite often it just resizes the window. Stick at it and try just a little bit higher until hopefully you catch the top edge of the colour docker window. Good luck and I hope you have a Happy New Year. Sam.
