setting default image size

I’ve been busy with work and other stuff but I’m finally back to learning synfig…

is there any way to set the default image size, instead of having to manually go in and change it from 480 x 270 everytime? Everytime you open a new animation it resets to that size.

I want all my animations to be in 720p hd format, 1280 x 720…

Yes, go to Toolbox->Preferences->Document and choose the start up document size.
Although I recommend to work with small but proportional sizes and then change the size at final render.
If you start with HD you end rendering in HD when ti is just a initial test. Remember that you can always change the output size when render the final version.
