Congratulations for your very first animation!
I have an advice. Watching your composition, you have created something like this:
-Group Layer
–Star Layer
–Rectangle Layer
–Translate Layer
-Rotate Layer
You should know that transformation layers (Rotate, Translate, etc.) must have layers below it to achieve its effect.
Try to move the layers (mouse drag and drop) and reorder this way:
-Translate Layer
-Rotate Layer
-Group Layer
–Star Layer
–Rectangle Layer
Then the translate and the rotate layers would affect the Group layer and all its content.
