Will there be any feature for rendering into scaleable graphic formats like svg or swf or any other format ? Synfig looks promising ,but lack of this feature makes me wonder if I can find another program with smilar capabilities.

Hi.

If it’s to use in web material you have the option to embed an html5 player that actually does exactly that: render to scaleable (canvas) format: [github.com/haramanai/easelSif](https://github.com/haramanai/easelSif) (discussed at [HTML5 canvas player.](https://forums.synfig.org/t/html5-canvas-player/2137/1)).

swf & svg generation have been discussed at length on this forum (as a quick search could tell you), and are currently not available nor planned, afaik.
the closest attempt I found is (a seemingly old) [linkmauve.fr/dev/synfig/sif2svg/](http://linkmauve.fr/dev/synfig/sif2svg/)

hope this helps.
