My goal is to draw a simple animation of the Bohr model of an atom. I want to show an electron doing a quantum leap. This means I must have an electron move about in a circle, vanish, and have it appear out of nowhere in a different location. How would I do this?
Use the amount value of the atom layer.
In animation edit mode, at the frame you want the electron to dissapear set amount to 0. Go back to frame 0 and set amount to one to have it visible there. Now tyou have two waypoints in your timeline, right click these and choose constant interpolation to have your electron to dissapear at once at the frame you want rather than slowly fade away between the two waypoints.
