Well, i´m not good drawing with mouse, so i think i would like to buy a drawing pad, is this software compatible with it?.. how hard is it to connect?

Hi digimickey,
a drawing pad is mostly recognized as a mouse, so you can use it in any application.
It can works with two modes:
- like a mouse (relative)
- like a surface (absolute)
Anyway, don’t expect to draw so much better with it; it is mostly useful for sketching and painting, but not so much for outlining directly.
I would recommend you to use a paper a scanner, then to use outlining tool (bezier…) to make the outline smooth.
But it is still a good tool to have on your desk, skills are coming with practice
