Making the Style and Weight parameters of the Text layer work

I’m using Synfig v1.0.2, and the Style and Weight parameters of the Text layer don’t work for any of the fonts.

Any quick way to fix that?

If it cannot be fixed without modifying the Synfig source code, where in the Synfig source code can it be fixed?

Thanks for much help again, BobSynfig.

Apparently, Cairo render has a serious problem: it uses only one font.

Rendered using “png” as the target.

The results are exactly the same on both Windows and Mac, both Synfig Studio v1.0.2.

Am I missing something here? A proper setting somewhere, perhaps?

Also, any way to do “live” display of different font styles and weights in Synfig Studio?

Nop… i don’t think.

Finaly, the Font layer need serious work.
